Lewisville Open

The Lewisville Open was played at LL Woods and Lake Park in Lewisville, TX. On Saturday the pros played the LL Woods course. This is a short course in a flat park marked by sidewalks. We played on or over any sidewalk as out of bounds which made the course much more interesting. We also played longer tee placements on 5 of the holes. The most dramatic feature of the course was the wind. It is typcially quite windy at this course and was so during the event. Shawn had a great start at this event by shooting a -7 which put him in the lead. I had a slow start, but managed to at least tie for the lead.

Sunday we played at the LL Woods course. This course is slightly longer, but has many more trees. A few of the holes play adjacent the Lewisville Lake. The weather was a little chilly and highs were in the low 50's. Dave Feldberg turned it on strong and won his first pro event.
