The night before this event brought between 2.8 and 4.8 inches of rain to the Dallas area. The rain continued on and off during the morning. Worse than that was the bitter temperature and the wind. Wind Chills hoovered around freezing. I do no like being cold! Growing up in California means that Shawn has rarely even been in weather this cold much less played around of golf in it. So we decided to take the day off and did not play in this one-day B tier event. We heard later that Nolan Grinder was the only one to shoot under par in the conditions and won. Sue Stephens edged out Nadine Larkin to win in the women's division.
