Greater Peoria Open
J
une 8 & 9, 2002

The pros started by playing the newly renovated Bradly course. The changes made this a much better course. Shawn played really well on the back 9 and not so well on the front. I did the complete opposite. The afternoon round was played at a very uncharacteristically calm Washington Park. The greatest obstical at this course is almost always the wind. We lucked out and played with very little wind. Both rounds Saturday were very quick as the courses were short with little trouble (which will not be the case Sunday). After the rounds Saturday, Shawn filmed a "how-to" segment for DiscTV. Then I did a small interveiw about the World Games.

On Sunday we played at McNaughton. Shawn had a good round going until the last few holes. I had trouble holding on to the disc today and therefor started playing tentative which lost me plenty of strokes. Thankfully I had enough of a lead from Saturday that it didn't matter.
