Oklahoma Open
November 2 & 3, 2002

Last year this event was one of the nicest surprises of the tour. It was a B tier that put a lot of hear and soul into the event. Because of their efforts last year they were awarded A tier status this year. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. The forecast was for cold weather and rainy conditions. Shawn talked of dropping out of the event all ready Thursday night. We decided to stick it out, but in retrospect, we should have done something else. It was miserable. It was bitter cold and it was constantly wet even when it wasn't raining. After the rounds on Saturday we went to Bally's Total Fitness and sat in the hot tub for 40 minutes. We usually only last 10 minutes in the hot water before we have to get out.

OK, now as far as the competition, neither one of us did well at all. I ended up 3rd of 4 and Shawn was 9th of 36. Lesli played extremely well the first round to win the women's division and Cam played well enough Sunday to get the win.
