We stayed at home this weekend and were able to play in a nonsanctioned event at Endicott Park which is incredibly close to where we live. There were 13 total pros. I was the only woman so I played in the open men's division. In the first round we played from the shorter red tees. I hit some of the harder holes, but missed the easiest ones. I ended with a respectible 4 under par. Shawn's drives were a bit off, but he putted well in the first round to finish with a 5 under. This put him 2 out of the lead and in fourth place.

The second round was played from the more difficult white tees. I was leading the second card to begin with. I played a very solid round with no bogies and 7 birdies. I drove well and made some nice putts. It's the best round I've had in a long time and it tied the course record. It was also enough to put me in a three way tie for the lead with Shawn and Dave McCormick. Shawn's second round was a little crazy. He was 7 under after the first 7 holes! He then had a couple of bogies a spit out and another birdie to finish at 6 under.

The top four pros then played a safari final 9. It was long!!! I had a bad drive on the first hole but was able to stay close with the rest of the guys during the monsterous holes. Shawn and Dave finished in a tie and Shawn birdied the 3rd sudden death playoff to take the win.
