The Double O was a B tier event that happen to be in the right place at the right time. The event occurs the weekend before the VPO in Arlington, TX. So it is convienent in both location and timing. There was a supertour event this weekend, but it wasn't convienent as it was in Las Vegas. Another reason I was interested in attending the Double O is that there is a locale female golfer (Lisa Penderson) who had been working all year to raise money for the women's division. She put in a lot of work and I wanted to see her rewarded with a large field.

From the minute we arrived in Tulsa we were met with smiling, helpful people. We truely felt welcomed. This event was a joy and I look forward to returning in the future.

I don't remember any of the scores right now, but I can tell you that I won (out of 8 women) and Shawn took second (out of 35 men).
